Universal Forest Products Announces Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Accounting
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2006--Universal Forest Products, Inc. (Nasdaq:UFPI) today announced its Vice President of Accounting, Eric Maxey, is to take the newly created position of Vice President of Business Development. The company's Corporate Controller, Scott Bravata, will be promoted to Vice President of Accounting. The moves take effect February 27, 2006.

Both Maxey and Bravata have a long history with Universal. Maxey joined Universal in 1981 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller in 1984. In 1992, Maxey was promoted to Vice President of Accounting.
Bravata joined Universal in accounting in May of 1988 and became Director of Wholesale Accounting in 1989. He had held the position of Corporate Controller since 1997.
